Nuclear Family

Synopsis

Nuclear Family is a thriller about a family on the edge, desperately fighting for survival. It’s about the bond that keeps us together when catastrophe threatens to break us apart.

John (Corin Nemec) and Karen (Kinsey Packard) are signing their divorce papers while their children, Pauline and Grant, wait outside. Suddenly a huge explosion occurs and in the ensuing chaos, Grant is separated from the rest of the family. John, Karen and Pauline flee into the woods where, as a family, they struggle to survive in a now-lawless society — all the while seeking clues to Grant’s whereabouts.

A savage clan led by "The Man" (Ray Wise) captures John and tries to kill him. Karen and Pauline eventually rescue John and take The Man hostage. The more they learn from The Man, the more they realize that what’s happened may not have been an accident. There appears to be a much larger conspiracy taking place, and finding Grant is the key to unlocking the mystery.

Nuclear Family is a story about cherishing the people we take for granted, and how far we’ll go to stay together when faced with a seemingly impossible challenge.
